Task 6 - Colour Scheme
Very contrasting colours are used in the poster. Black, white and grey it seems
like most horror movie posters use the colour black probably as a way of representing
the unknown.
Black is again used as a primary colour in the poster probably to represent
the unknown and the dark grey is used for the foggy effect throughout the poster with
then a light shade of blue, normally a colour that relaxes. The colour could have been used on
purpose, not only to look nice but to also calm the viewer and convince them to watch the movie.
The colours used on this poster are again the classic horror colours such as black and grey;
black for the unknown and darkness while grey for fog throughout the poster.
This poster also uses the colours yellow and red. The yellow is probably to catch the viewer's attention
and also to imply danger with red also doing the same but linking to blood.
